Westbank Community Library Supporters of Westbank Community Library gathered this past weekend to break ground on the new library to be named in honor of our current First Lady. When complete, "Laura's Library" will offer stunning views of the surrounding hill country, a fancy courtyard with stone seating carved to resemble books, and, most appropriately, a drive-up book window. Eanes was concerned because the teacher had led their physics program to be one of the best in the nation and had quit less than 45 days before the start of the school year. Therefore, they refused to accept his resignation and filed a complaint with the state. Yesterday, however, Eanes school district superintendent Nola Wellman announced that if Harper turns in his resignation again (by the end of this week), she will recommend that it be accepted and the complaint to the state be dropped....

Operation Interdependence is one of thirteen shipping stations in the nation that package what in Iraq becomes luxuries (soap, toothpaste, peanuts), and it's right here in Austin.
