The Harry Ransom Center at UT Austin gives out about 50 fellowships each year to post-doctorates and independent scholars for research projects "in all areas of the humanities." The funding includes a handsome $3,000 monthly stipend (up to 4 months), plus travel stipends. Applications are now being accepted; the deadline is February 2, 2009.
