What Are You, Some Kind of Cissi?

How many times has this happened to you? Situation: you're at the Hotel San Jose with friends, on your second *cough third* Champassion, and it hits you: you're hungry. Sure, there's always the cheese platter at the San Jose, but seriously man - you're hungry. What do you do? You call Homeslice Pizza, only to find out there's a half hour wait for carryout ... and you're hunnngryyyy.
Come early February, there may be a solution - at long last, the '04 will welcome a full service market where you can grab some snacks or - novel idea - grab some groceries, take them home and cook them. The possibilities astound.
“People can enjoy the finest quality foods, right in the neighborhood or they can run in, grab a few necessary items and get out. We want to become a fixture in the neighborhood where everyone comes to meet,” says Austin’s Craig Thibodeau and Cissi’s General Manager.
Our culinary elves/spies tell us the store will offer a prepared foods section with more than 350 recipes, fresh fish and meats, specialty and imported foods, flowers, an in-house bakery, a juice bar, a coffee bar, and organic produce provided by Austin’s Greenling Organic Delivery (not to mention about 25% of their footprint being devoted to beer and wine.)
