Les Claypool's Frog Brigade will leave your ass shaking and your mind spinning. Following his career with the legendary Primus, Claypool has broadened his musical horizons to include performances with Oysterhead (Bonnaroo pics), Sausage, Les Claypool & The Holy Mackerel, and now his first completely original lineup, Les Claypool’s Frog Brigade. Though his first studio album with the band includes guest appearances by a legion of all-star players (Norwood Fished, Lonnie Marshall, Warren Haynes), the touring band generally includes saxophone wizard Skerik, the polyrhythmic sounds of the borderline-crazy Mike Dillon and sitar virtuoso Gabby Lang.
“Gothic pop trio” Rasputina opens.

30 bucks is a little much; perhaps the show wouldn't need the massive promo push it's getting if it were priced a little more reasonably.
I'll be saving my $ for the Lord Weird Slough Feg on Friday. Even if it's 10 bucks, it'll still seem like a hell of a value.
i didn't know there was a big promo push; tehn again, i don't listen to the radio or read most poublicaitons. considering most natioanl shows rund between 22-30, i consider this aboout average. from what i understand from people who have been to recent show, it is well worth it. bt, as with all things monetary, it is very relative.
