Local Boys Do Good, Part 2

Ghostland Observatory, about whom we've gushed since the inception of this site, and who we interviewed a little while ago, are about to leave Texas for their very first East Coast tour, including a stop to play at the New York Media Blowout that is Gothamist's Movable Hype, masterfully organized by our pal, Jen Carlson. They're bringing the beat to NYC, and we can only hope and pray that NYC doesn't dig its claws in and steal them from us. Who else will make us move with our lover so well?
If you live in Baltimore (or anywhere in the DC metro area), New York, or Jersey, you owe it to yourself to see one of Austin's best and most exciting bands! This Austinist contributor will actually be travelling along with the band for a few of their stops, and will report back to you, our loyal readers, about what it's like to be a lil' band from Texas in big, scary Manhattan.
Full tour schedule after the jump.
